Maiden First United
~ Making disciples of Jesus Christ, who are making a difference in the world. ~
Thank you for visiting Maiden First United Methodist Church Website. Having been here a short while, I have discovered something about the people who attend First UMC; they are the “salt of the earth.” These folks love Jesus and they love each other. The members of this church are wonderful, they care for one another, they pull visitors into their arms of love and into their church family. This church campus looks rather large with a beautiful sanctuary, an education wing, and a welcoming fellowship center. Seeming large from the outside has nothing to do with the inside; you will discover that this church has that “small church feeling.” The people here draw persons into their love.
If you are interested in attending Maiden First United Methodist, do not wait another day!
Sunday morning Worship offers a service that incorporates Contemporary and Traditional Settings. The Youth which meet on Sunday afternoons are involved in many mission projects, and they venture off on all kinds of fun outings.
Maiden First UMC moves beyond the walls of the church and outward into mission, with Suppers for Seniors, Habitat for Humanity teams, Teacher appreciation luncheon, Backpacks for Kids, and more. Activities abound for both young and old. The Youth Programming is outstanding! Active young couples fill this church with life! The Senior Citizens are everywhere, and always on the go! Men’s ministries, Women’s ministries, Young adult, Youth and children, and the lists go on and on… Mission, at home and in the world, music, evangelism, spaghetti suppers, hot dog suppers, the car show, Fall Festival, Christmas Cantata, the chili cook-off, support groups, drama, mission building teams, and the list continues….
